How to distingush fatigue wire breaks?
Fatigue breaks:
1) If it is normal fatigue wire breaks, they are usually transverse or square showing granular structure. Often these breaks will develop a shattered or jagged fracture, depending on the type of operation.

2) Let's check the next 2 pictures, which shows evidence of a shear-like cut. This is only one strand broken but others are ok. This condition is evidence of mechanical abuse caused by agents outside the installation, or by something abnormal during use.
